That might seem like a weird thing to brag about – but we’re kind of proud of being the first company in Phoenix to offer the service. Abe (our founder) was visiting with an early client, Honeywell, who expressed a need for document shredding. Abe, never one to say “no,” told them Friedman Recycling could perform that service, left the meeting and bought a shredder and established Security Data Destruction.
Abe’s entrepreneurial spirit lives on in Friedman Recycling and Security Data Destruction to this day. If you have an issue, we will find the solution.
Security Data Destruction is NAID AAA certified – the highest level of certification in the industry.
To maintain our certification we must use their approved practices and be open to surprise visits to verify all sensitive materials are being handled in a secure manner.
In order to maintain the NAID chain of custody we provide locked and secured containers, and uniformed and certified drivers, to remove and transport materials. We leave a receipt at the source. Then drive the paper to a secured center where everything is shredded within 48 house. Documents are monitored and secured from time of receipt to the time they are destroyed. Once destruction is complete, a Certificate of Destruction is sent to our client. We are Insured and bonded for any breach.
